SMA BAND  

The St. Monica Academy band program is a long-standing tradition at our school.  Students in the 5^th-8^th grade compose our Senior Band which meets weekly for lessons and band rehearsals.  They perform 2 concerts – one in December and one in May – and participate in a solo adjudication as well.  Beginners can start in any grade starting with 4^th.  The band year begins in September and these students perform once in the first year at the May concert. Lessons are held during the school day on a rotating basis. Senior Band rehearsals are before school on Tuesdays and Junior (beginners) Band rehearsals are before school on Thursdays beginning in February.
