Parent Volunteer Training

We are so happy that you are interested in volunteering at St. Monica!  Volunteer opportunities at SMA include field trips, classroom parties, scouts, sports teams, special lunches, fundraising events, and all kinds of school events.

To keep children safe, Archdiocese of Chicago has implemented a mandatory training called VIRTUS for all volunteers that work with and/or around children.  Basically, anytime you are helping out at the school and children are present.  Because of this necessary protection for our children, St. Monica Academy is requiring that all parents take the training (there is NO cost to you) and provide the school office a copy of your certificate of completion BEFORE actively volunteering to be in compliance with these requirements.
